Lifesavers Pre-Hospital Care

A non-governmental organisation dedicated to equipping Ghanaian communities with life-saving first aid skills — because every second counts before help arrives.

Community Driven Non-Profit Ghana

"Saving lives begins in the community — before the ambulance arrives."

Who We Are

Lifesavers Pre-Hospital Care is a Ghanaian non-governmental organisation committed to reducing preventable deaths by building first-aid capacity at the grassroots level. We believe that emergency preparedness should not be a privilege — it should be a right for every community across Ghana.

Our work focuses on closing the gap between the moment an emergency occurs and the arrival of professional medical services. Through targeted outreach, community training, and public education, we are building a network of everyday people equipped to respond when it matters most.

From schools and markets to workplaces and places of worship, we bring practical, life-saving skills directly to the people who need them.

Pre-Hospital Care Matters

The first few minutes after a medical emergency are the most critical. In Ghana, where emergency response times can be long, a bystander trained in first aid can mean the difference between life and death.

Over 70% of cardiac arrest victims collapse outside a hospital. Community-level first aid training significantly improves survival outcomes.

Vision & Mission

Our Vision

A Ghana where no life is lost due to the absence of immediate first aid — a nation where every person has the knowledge and confidence to respond to a medical emergency in their home, school, or workplace.

Our Mission

To make pre-hospital emergency care skills universally accessible across Ghana through free community training, outreach programmes, and public education — empowering ordinary people to save extraordinary lives.
